Blogger Bans Porn - YEOWCH to close?

Well.... FUCK!

Got this email this morning:

"Dear Blogger User,

We're writing to tell you about an upcoming change to the Blogger Content  Policy that may affect your account.

In the coming weeks, we'll no longer allow blogs that contain sexually  explicit or graphic nude images or video. We'll still allow nudity  presented in artistic, educational, documentary or scientific contexts, or  where there are other substantial benefits to the public from not taking  action on the content.

The new policy will take effect on 23 March 2015. After this policy comes  into force, Google will restrict access to any blog identified as being in  violation of our revised policy. No content will be deleted, but only blog  authors and those with whom they have expressly shared the blog will be able to see the content that we've made private.

Our records indicate that your account may be affected by this policy  change. Please refrain from creating new content that would violate this  policy. We would also ask you to make any necessary changes to your  existing blog to comply as soon as possible so that you won't experience
any interruptions in service.

Looks like the end of YEOWCH in this pix/comment format which sux big time as I thought it was a silly bit of naughty fun for broad minded adults to enjoy. Problem is YEOWCH on Blogger gets a lot of SEO traffic so I don't really want to delete the blog entirely. Guess I'll just delete all posts and leave nothing but my spanking stories to keep it going. Such a shame and a pain in the ass as I've been on Blogger for a long old time and have had millions of page views. Fucking hell, so many good blogs are going to disappear because of this which is a major bummer. No doubt Google has been pressured into doing this and it wouldn't surprise me that the UK Tory Government had their hand in this somehow. Twats. Tumblr will be next. Right now I'm going to have my breakfast and consider my options - one of which is to do what I did here on my other hosted YEOWCH blog. Hmmmmm, stay tuned spank fans!

Webmaster.

  1. My understanding is that the content won't be deleted just access by the general public making it a private forum, I hope that is the case as there are many blogs out there that we all enjoy. Good luck, Chris

    1. I fail to see what the problem is with Google as there is already a "content warning" before anyone can proceed, crazy situation.
